About Mick Lamb at Drive MR

Mick Lamb’s Drive MR is located in the northern suburbs of Perth , A Joondalup based MR truck driving school with a priority on one thing – His Students.
You will be treated like a friend instead of a number in a revolving door.
You will be personally and expertly guided from start to finish to successfully obtaining your MR Licence.
Mick has been training rigid truck drivers since 2018 with a peerless industry pass rate.
Before moving into driver instruction, Mick operated a successful transport and logistics business.
Mick also has extensive mechanical experience including in specialising in hydraulic and diesel truck and mining applications.
Mick is a qualified mechanical fitter. Mick holds a Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction) and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
Mick did his apprenticeship in driver training with two of Perths largest heavy vehicle driving schools – He largely learned what not or how not to treat people from these two driving schools.
Mick was previously sole trading very successfully as Indi Drive MR up until November 2025 for 5 years.

Mick trains students from all walks of life, including those with learning difficulties and adjusts his teaching style to suit every individual.
Mick will never push you into a driving test, coming ready or not.
